Not included are any services not specifically mentioned, extra meals and drinks, and additional transfers or taxi services.
Day 1 – Arrival in Mexico City
Upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel located downtown, near Zócalo Square. Free afternoon at leisure to explore the area.
Day 2 – Mexico City – Anthropology Museum – City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour visiting the Zócalo, National Palace, and Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue with a visit to the National Museum of Anthropology, featuring extensive exhibits of pre-Hispanic civilizations including the Aztecs and Maya.
Day 3 – Mexico City – Teotihuacan – Guadalupe Shrine
Morning departure to the archaeological site of Teotihuacan, home to the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the Americas. Free time in the evening.
Day 4 – Mexico City – Tuxtla – Sumidero Canyon – San Cristóbal de las Casas
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat tour through the Sumidero Canyon and visit Chapa de Corzo, a charming town rich in Mayan heritage. Later, continue by road to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Overnight stay.
Day 5 – San Cristóbal – Zinacantán & San Juan Chamula – San Cristóbal
Morning city tour of San Cristóbal, including the Santo Domingo Church and local market. Then visit the traditional indigenous villages of Zinacantán and San Juan Chamula, where ancient customs blend with Catholic rituals. Return to San Cristóbal in the afternoon.
Day 6 – San Cristóbal – Agua Azul Falls – Palenque
Early morning departure to the spectacular Agua Azul Falls, a series of bright blue waterfalls surrounded by jungle. Afterward, travel to Palenque, a town located at the base of the mountains. Accommodation and free time.
Day 7 – Palenque – Campeche
Visit the archaeological site of Palenque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its impressive temples and tombs. Then continue to the colonial city of Campeche, where you’ll check in at a centrally located hotel. Evening at leisure.
Day 8 – Campeche – Uxmal – Mérida
After breakfast, explore the beautiful ruins of Uxmal, one of the most important examples of Puuc-style Mayan architecture. Continue to Mérida, the capital of Yucatán, for a guided city tour. Overnight stay in the historic center.
Day 9 – Mérida – Chichen Itza – Riviera Maya
On your final day, visit the world-famous Chichen Itza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. Continue to the Riviera Maya, where the tour ends with accommodation at a hotel of your choice or transfer to your next destination.
